CNA Home Care

About the role

We're looking for a warm, capable CNA to join our care team for a wonderful gentleman living with ALS in Kittery. He needs a helping hand around the house — and honestly, a familiar friendly face he can count on each week.

Schedule

• Wednesdays: 4-7 PM
• Thursdays: 7 AM-7 PM
• Fridays: 7 AM-11 AM

Responsibilities

• Helping with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Whipping up meals and helping with feeding as needed
• Light housekeeping to keep things comfortable
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Being a genuine, caring presence — not just a task-doer

Requirements

• Active Maine CNA certification
• Reliable transportation and availability for the schedule above
• Patience, warmth, and a steady hand

Qualifications

• Experience with ALS or other neurological conditions (huge plus, but not a deal breaker if you're a fast learner with a great attitude)
• CPR certification (nice to have)
