This position offers a hybrid schedule with a mix of on-site work at the downtown Des Moines campus and remote work.

- Monday - Friday, day shift
Responsibilities
- Book freight with carriers through shrewd, market-appropriate negotiations that aim to produce regular capacity rather than one-off transactional bookings.
- Proactively communicate load-level situations to CSRs, Account Managers, and, as needed, Manager of General Operations.
- Gather carrier information regarding capacity, size, lane needs, rate needs, etc., and funnel this information to the Carrier Development Team, Account Management Team, and full pool of brokers.
- Consistently interact with a high number of carriers via phone/email to contribute data that drives load-level booking and decision-making processes.
- Learn from every interaction and inform the general team of gathered information.
- Communicate load bookings in the necessary format.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
