Broker Assistant (Temp to Hire)

Location: Green Bay, WI
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Shift: 1st (Monday–Friday, 12:00 pm–8:00 pm)

About the role

We are seeking a Broker Assistant to assist the freight brokerage team within Schneider’s Intermodal division. This is a temp-to-hire position, offering the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The Broker Assistant will play a critical role in load coverage, load tracking and the overall carrier experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
• Respond to rate offers.
• Book freight with carriers.
• Ensure loads are in proper status and troubleshoot all load issues that arise.
• Complete driver check-ins and carrier follow-ups.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of relevant work experience.
