About the role
The Brokerage Operations Coordinator provides operational support to the brokerage team by handling day-to-day tasks efficiently. This role contributes to seamless daily operations, ensures compliance with regulations, and facilitates effective communication within the brokerage team. You will work closely with brokers to ensure timely transaction completion through paperwork processing and coordination with other departments.
Responsibilities
- Assists in executing and coordinating day-to-day brokerage operations and supports the implementation and improvement of operational procedures.
- Coordinates with brokers to prepare documents, cover letters, and other materials to market renewal business; provides administrative support in filing, printing, and archiving documents.
- Administers and updates new and current client information accurately in all required systems.
- Maintains accurate and organized records of client accounts, transactions, and other relevant documentation; ensures compliance with record-keeping regulations.
- Performs customer service functions by answering broker requests and questions via telephone, email, chat, or in person.
- Contributes to the preparation of compliance reports related to brokerage operations and collaborates across broker and finance teams on business requirements.
- Adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies; assists in the preparation of compliance reports.
- Assists in identifying and mitigating operational risks and collaborates with risk management teams to implement controls.
- Supports the Brokerage team with ad hoc tasks and requests.
Requirements
- 0+ years of experience in the Insurance industry or Underwriting.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

Pay
The target hourly rate range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. The wage range considers factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure, certification, business needs, and market demands. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
