Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers.
• Portion, wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients from entrees, appetizers, salads, and garnishes.
• Carve and slice meats and cheese.
• Measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, salads, and hot and cold food items following recipes.
• Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule.
• Maintain uniform per restaurant requirements and keep it clean.
• Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
• Ensure guests have a superior dining experience by correctly prepping food products.
• Display proper food safety techniques in handling and preparation (personal hygiene, hand washing, gloves, knife skills, etc.).
• Know emergency procedures for the restaurant.
• Maintain the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for the work area (prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, shelving).
• Accomplish all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift.
• Immediately report any unsafe condition or unsafe act, accident, or injury.

Pay

Starting pay $19.00-$24.00/hour based on experience.
