About the Role

The Broil Cook prepares a variety of hot and cold food items, including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, appetizers, and garnishes. Duties include washing, peeling, slicing, and mixing vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients, as well as carving and slicing meats and cheese. The cook measures and mixes ingredients to create dressings, sauces, salads, and other menu items according to recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards.
• Ensure guests receive a superior dining experience through proper food preparation.
• Follow food safety techniques, including personal hygiene, hand washing, glove use, and proper knife skills.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety in the work area (prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, shelving).
• Adhere to all safety guidelines; report unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.
• Report to work on time as scheduled and maintain a clean, compliant uniform.
• Know and follow emergency procedures for the restaurant.
