About the role

The AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained hematologist/oncologist to join the practice in Lake Nona, Florida, starting in late Summer 2026. The position will manage a range of hematologic and oncologic conditions with a focus on breast oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of hematologic and oncologic conditions
  • Focus on breast oncology
  • Share rotation of call with other physicians in the practice, including weekends
  • Inpatient coverage with a team of advanced practice providers and support from other physicians
  • Collaborate with leading experts and cutting-edge treatments in hematology/oncology
  • Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students

Requirements

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
