About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State University College of Medicine is seeking a full-time subspecialty trained radiologist to serve in the Division of Breast Imaging.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site radiology coverage for academic practice, including East Campus interdisciplinary breast center in Hershey, outpatient breast imaging clinic in Camp Hill, and interdisciplinary Lime Spring center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
- Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists to provide multidisciplinary care to patients.
- Participate in comprehensive breast services, including digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, ABUS, MRI, Savi Scout localizations, and image-guided core biopsy (stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI).
- Work collaboratively with the Community Radiology Breast Division to ensure high-quality care for all patients in the Penn State Health system.
- Teach medical students, residents, and staff as part of the academic mission.
- Engage in clinical research through collaboration with the Division of Radiology Innovation and Value Enhancement (DRIVE) and the Penn State Cancer Institute.
Requirements
- Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification/eligibility in Radiology
- Completion of breast imaging fellowship program (or extensive clinical experience)
- Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
