Position Summary
This is a highly visible role that has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the daily breakfast service while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs and desires of our guests and others in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform all duties toward the goal of maximizing guest service.
- Greet all guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive start to their day.
- Set up breakfast buffet and ensure all food items are stocked and presented attractively.
- Monitor food levels and replenish as necessary to provide a consistent and high-quality experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, including proper storage and temperature control.
- Aid guests with any special requests or dietary needs, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Clear tables promptly and reset for incoming guests.
- Restock and organize all breakfast-related supplies.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Assist in kitchen duties, including dishwashing and light food preparation as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Work closely and cooperatively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient breakfast service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

- Ability to handle guest concerns in a polite and efficient manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Experience
Customer service experience preferred. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- General food service environment with moderate physical activity.
