Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is searching for a Breakfast Attendant for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA.

About the role

Set up, maintain, and organize the buffet before, during, and after service times.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the entire buffet by keeping all food looking fresh and full
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas at all times
• Maintain proper stocking levels of all utensils and china
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
• Perform all assigned side work, including replenishing supplements of the buffet
• Answer telephones and take room service orders
• Handle special guest requests
• Greet and seat guests
• Assist servers when needed
• Assist other departments as directed

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations and etiquette
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of sideboard items
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis
• Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with guests and take orders
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Restaurant experience preferred
