Responsibilities
- Sets up all equipment according to established standards.
- Ensures dough pieces are proper size and length according to standards.
- Ensures proper sheeting, moulding, and panning per production standards.
- Removes all double dough pieces from pans.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and GMP’s.
- P practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
- Performs other duties as deemed by management.
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of production experience in an industrial food manufacturing facility, preferably in bread production.
- Must have physical ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours to a maximum of 16 hours.
- Ability to routinely stoop and bend while lifting 20 lbs. of material.
- Ability to climb 20-foot stepladder carrying up to 20 lbs. of material and reach out 2 feet to drop into top of hopper.
- Ability to exert force necessary to move wheeled container weighing up to 500 lbs a distance of 300 feet.
- Hearing and vision sufficient to detect malfunction of all related machines, and to distinguish color coded equipment, operating controls, labels, alarms and signs.
