Bread Mixer $20-$22.50/hr*

Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare hundreds of hand-formed artisan breads each shift.
• Prep produce and deli products for bakery items.
• Mix and scale ingredients.
• Bench dough.
• Load carts and racks with product.
• Lift and stack flour.
• Operate kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, mixers and dough dividers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment.
• Assist bakery clerks.
• Provide world-class service to guests as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess basic math skills.
• Physical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loaves.
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products.
• Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage.
• A passion for putting out a great product consistently.
• A positive attitude is essential.
