About the role

As a Mill Laborer at Barrett Petfood, you will operate machinery, mix ingredients, and ensure smooth production processes. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with your team to improve operations in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Guide semi-trailer into designated area
• Complete incoming and outbound inspection reports
• Sample raw materials
• Receive in raw materials
• Perform inventory and cycle counts
• Assist in dumping bulk totes
• Ensure proper ingredient weights, materials, and labeling
• Report, document, and repair any discrepancies in your work area
• Clean equipment and facilities

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times

Pay

Competitive hourly pay range of $22.00 - $26.00, based on experience and shift differential.

Schedule

Two shifts available:

• Monday through Thursday, 5 PM to 4 AM
• Friday through Sunday, 4 PM to 4 AM
