BRD Cooling Room Operator

Join our team at Barrett Petfood in Brainerd, Minnesota, as a Full-Time Operator in the dynamic world of pet manufacturing. This onsite position offers a competitive pay range of $19.50 - $21.50 per hour.

About the role

As a Cooling Room Operator, you'll be at the forefront of production, driving innovation and ensuring high-quality products for pets. You'll collaborate with talented professionals in a fun, high-performance work culture focused on safety, integrity, and customer-centric problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move oils and finished goods efficiently within the production facility.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure safe and effective transportation of materials.
• Follow strict safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Solve problems creatively to navigate daily challenges in production.
• Uphold Barrett Petfood’s core values and contribute to meaningful improvements in production processes.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

• Strong focus on safety and adherence to protocols.
• Attention to detail when handling pet products and raw materials.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with coworkers and management.
• Problem-solving abilities to tackle operational challenges.
• Proactive approach to learning and understanding manufacturing processes.
• Good physical stamina; ability to maneuver a forklift and stay active throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.
