Responsibilities
- Braze together components using a torch or brazing machine and flux.
- Guide torch and rod along the joint of work pieces to heat to brazing temperature, melt braze alloy, and bond work pieces together.
- Assist with setting up equipment, selecting torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy based on data charts or work orders.
- Perform a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some experience brazing CU/CU on an assembly line.
- Basic understanding of data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders.
- Able to determine required equipment and settings.
- Precision control and dexterity.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- May be required to take related training and/or pass skills tests.
Pay
The starting pay range for this hourly non-exempt role is $19.30 – $20.25/hour, with factors such as geography, skills, education, and experience influencing the starting rate. Eligible for overtime when working more than 40 hours in a week (or as required by state law).
