Bravanese Interpreter
About the role
LanguageLine Solutions is hiring a Bravanese Interpreter for a remote position. This is an independent contractor position and not eligible for employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally.
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to established protocols.
- Speak clearly in both Bravanese and English using proper pronunciation and enunciation.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and remain calm during interpreting sessions.
- Ensure punctuality and availability during work hours.
- Follow client instructions and comply with protocol to meet client expectations.
- Understand and adapt to various industries' terminology and procedures.
- Show cultural sensitivity and work in a diverse environment.
- Handle emotionally and/or stressful calls with professionalism.
Requirements
- Fluency in Bravanese and English with cultural competency.
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills.
- Ability to concentrate and remain neutral during sensitive calls.
- Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred.
- Adaptability to LLS technology enhancements.
- At least 18 years old.
- Licensed to work in the United States.
- Ability to read and write Bravanese and English.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.
- Access to a quiet space for work.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of operating systems.
- Ability to lift up to 26 lbs.

$0.75 - $0.90 per minute.
