About the role
Taylor Robinson Music is seeking private music instructors, particularly for Brass. Lessons can occur in the students' homes, in the instructor's home or studio, or via webcam.
Responsibilities
- Teach private music lessons to students in the Auburn, WA area
- Set your own schedule and curriculum/lesson plans
- Communicate regularly with the office
- Be organized and punctual for all lessons
Requirements
- Great with kids and love teaching
- Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience
Qualifications
- Flexible scheduling
- Ability to teach in-person or via webcam
- Experience with online teaching tools if needed
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to teach a variety of instruments
Pay
You will be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
