Brass instructor needed in Overland Park, KS

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Brass. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Overland Park, KS area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach private music lessons to students in their homes, your home, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Manage your own curriculum and materials.
• Handle all billing and marketing for your lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and passionate about teaching music.
• Organized and punctual for all lessons.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with independent contractor pay rates.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the Taylor Robinson Music office.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to teach various musical instruments, particularly Brass.
• Knowledge of online teaching platforms if preferred.
