Brass instructor needed in McKinney, TX

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Brass. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the McKinney, TX area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach private music lessons to students in their homes, your home, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Manage your own curriculum and materials.
• Handle all billing and marketing for your lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and passionate about teaching.
• Good communication skills with our office.
• Organized and punctual for all lessons.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with independent contractor pay rates.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
• Willingness to travel to students in the McKinney, TX area if needed.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and schedules.
• Knowledge of music theory and performance.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
