Brass instructor needed in Harvey, LA

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Brass. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Harvey, LA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach Brass instruments to students in their homes, your home, or your studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office about scheduling and any changes.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and passionate about teaching music.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule to accommodate students in the Harvey, LA area.
• Willingness to travel to students' homes if needed.
• Experience with online teaching tools if preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach independently and set your own curriculum.
• Knowledge of music theory and performance.

Benefits
