About the role

Brandermill Animal Hospital in Midlothian, Virginia is a busy 3-doctor, AAHA-certified, small animal and exotics practice. We are a “high-touch” practice that values getting to know our clients and patients, and we are AAHA accredited.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for our patients and work with clients to ensure they provide excellent care for their pets
• Provide client education and patient care
• Handle animals, perform treatments, manage medical records, collect samples, process prescriptions, fill out invoices, assist with surgeries, and monitor anesthesia
• Mentor aspiring veterinary assistants in educational tasks for veterinary technician degree programs

Requirements

• An active Virginia LVT license
• Experience with Idexx Cornerstone (a plus)
