Brand Strategist & Naming
About the role
Docusign is seeking a Brand Strategist to lead the evolution of our brand as a category leader and platform owner. Reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Creative, this role will own and execute on branding activities, ensuring alignment across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Own and serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for net-new product, feature, packaging, and other naming activities.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing (PMM) and Product teams to reduce messaging fragmentation and ensure standard naming guidelines are followed.
- Work with product, product marketing, pricing, packaging, customer success, and other teams on naming.
- Maintain and track baseline measurements for category and brand share of voice (SOV).
- Aid in the rollout and maintenance of our multi-year brand and category roadmap.
- Help socialize and advocate for our verbal brand identity across the organization.
- Manage brand health and sentiment research projects, compiling insights for stakeholders.
- Bridge between high-level strategy decks and creative execution, writing briefs for the brand team.
Requirements
Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience, 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing coordination, or account planning, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment, strong analytical mind, excellent communication and storytelling skills, collaborative mindset.

Strong analytical mind, comfortable working with data tools and research reports, ability to distill collaborative data into clear briefs, skilled at organizing projects cross-functionally, building positive relationships across creative and technical teams.

Pay
Based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges in the following locations:
- California: $132,700.00 - $206,800.00 base salary
- Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $126,500.00 - $173,900.00 base salary
- Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $132,700.00 - $182,500.00 base salary
Schedule
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation.)
