Brand Representative

About the role
The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets and delivering growth by regularly visiting customers to provide best-in-class service. This role involves executing brand strategies, maintaining distribution standards, and maximizing call cycles based on customer profiles and the Luxottica Loyalty Rewards program.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, average unit price, distribution, and door productivity targets for each brand collection.
- Develop and adhere to an effective call plan to visit customers every 4–12 weeks (or more frequently for priority accounts).
- Ensure brand visual merchandising by refreshing POP materials and board space to reflect brand positioning and support product sell-through.
- Log visits in One Sales Suite and utilize reports, trainings, samples, and tools to manage customer relationships and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Proactively manage distribution in the territory based on brand guidelines.
- Build strong working relationships at all levels within the practices and businesses managed.
- Conduct regular customer trainings to reinforce brand knowledge and messaging.
- Stay current on industry trends and cultivate both existing and new customer relationships.
- Collaborate with sales counterparts (e.g., other brand divisions, Essilor) to deliver broader synergy programs.
- Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows on behalf of Luxottica.
- Develop and execute business plans using Luxottica Rewards program tools to demonstrate ROI and drive sales growth.
- Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics to leadership to support growth strategies.
- Attend corporate training sessions, conference calls, team meetings, and district appointments.
- Organize and conduct trunk shows and consumer events in top practices to create brand awareness and drive sales.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of results.
- Ability to carry sample bags weighing at least 25 lbs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to increase revenues and develop customer relationships.
- Excellent training and presentation skills.
- Strong visual merchandising background.
- Ability to problem-solve and anticipate challenges while proposing solutions.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Significant and regular field time required, with up to 100% travel (including overnights, depending on geography).
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to use a personal car for daily work-related travel.
