Brand Representative

About the role
The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets and driving growth by visiting customers to provide best-in-class service, optimizing their call cycle based on customer profiles and the Luxottica Loyalty Rewards program. The role involves executing brand strategies while maintaining standards for distribution, training, productivity, and merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, average unit price, distribution, and door productivity targets for assigned brand collections.
- Develop and adhere to an effective call plan to visit customers on a 4-12 week rotation (prioritizing Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver accounts).
- Ensure brand visual merchandising by refreshing POP materials and board space to reflect brand positioning and support product sell-through.
- Log visits in One Sales Suite and utilize reports, trainings, samples, and software to manage customer relationships and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Proactively manage distribution in the territory based on brand guidelines.
- Build strong working relationships at all levels within the practices and businesses managed.
- Conduct regular customer trainings using brand materials to reinforce knowledge and ensure consistent messaging to end-consumers.
- Stay current on industry trends affecting the business.
- Cultivate existing customer base through regular visits while prospecting for new opportunities in the market.
- Collaborate with sales counterparts (e.g., other brand divisions, Essilor) to deliver broader synergy programs.
- Participate in and represent Luxottica at local, regional, and national trade shows.
- Develop an effective business plan leveraging the Luxottica Rewards program, tools, and resources to demonstrate ROI and drive sales growth.
- Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics to leadership to support growth strategies.
- Attend required corporate training sessions, conference calls, team meetings, and district appointments.
- Develop and conduct trunk shows and other patient/consumer events in top practices to create brand awareness and drive sales.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of results.
- Ability to carry sample bags weighing at least 25 lbs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to increase revenues and develop relationships.
- Excellent training and presentation skills.
- Strong visual merchandising background.
- Ability to problem-solve and anticipate challenges while proposing solutions.
- Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Significant and regular field time required, with overnight travel dependent on geography (up to 100% travel).
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to use a personal car for daily work-related travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree.
Pay
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may complement the total rewards package.
