Brand Partnerships Director (Digital/Influencer)

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive brand partnership opportunities across the Currents roster, from initial outreach through deal close.
  • Build and execute vertical and account strategies, mapping key decision-makers at target brands and agencies and evolving one-off deals into recurring, multi-platform partnerships.
  • Own and grow key brand and agency relationships, with a focus on long-term partnerships vs. one-off deals.
  • Proactively source new business by building relationships with brands and agencies and generating outbound opportunities.
  • Manage inbound requests by qualifying opportunities, identifying the right talent, and moving deals forward efficiently.
  • Develop and customize pitch materials, talent packages, and campaign ideas aligned with brand objectives.
  • Lead deal conversations, structure pricing, and support negotiations in partnership with Talent Managers.
  • Close deals and transition them to the appropriate Talent Manager for execution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pipeline of opportunities, tracking outreach, deal flow, and partnership activity, and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Leverage campaign performance data to inform pitching strategy and improve deal outcomes.
  • Develop case studies and insights decks that demonstrate talent impact and drive repeat business.
  • Represent Currents in external meetings, calls, and industry events to build long-term brand relationships.
  • Develop relationship plans for top accounts, including regular touchpoints, in-person meetings, and proactive ideation.
  • Provide feedback on talent marketability, pricing, and brand fit based on real-time deal insights.
  • Mentor Brand Partnerships Coordinators and help elevate pitching, outreach, and deal execution quality.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6 years in brand partnerships, sales, influencer marketing, or an agency environment with exposure to deal-making.
  • A track record of personally sourcing and closing deals, motivated by driving revenue and winning business.
  • Industry fluency: strong understanding of the creator economy, social platforms, and brand partnership dynamics.
  • Clear, confident, and professional in both written and verbal communication.
  • Able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM/pipeline tools to track deal flow and forecast revenue.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working at a top marketing agency, or talent agency in the influencer / creator space.
  • Bonus: Existing relationships with brands, agencies, or experience working with digital talent.
