Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end brand strategy across three pantry brands, including positioning, portfolio focus, and stabilization plans
- Lead brand planning, including volume, revenue, margin, and A&P investment recommendations
- Develop and execute scrappy, high-ROI marketing plans (innovation, renovation, communications, promotions, and in-store activation)
- Translate consumer and shopper insights into actionable strategies that drive trial, repeat, and loyalty
- Partner with Sales and Category Management to support go-to-market strategy and strengthen key customer plans
- Lead innovation projects from concept through launch, with disciplined business cases and cross-functional alignment
- Manage brand P&L levers in partnership with Finance, including pricing, mix, trade investments and portfolio prioritization
- Oversee agency partners (creative, media, PR, digital) to ensure efficient ROI-driven brand execution
- Monitor brand performance and competitive dynamics; recommend course corrections based on data and insights
- Ensure brand compliance with regulatory, quality, and corporate standards
- Contribute to broader marketing capability building and continuous improvement across the portfolio
Qualifications
- Brand Strategy & Stewardship: Strong ability to define and evolve brand equity while prioritizing the initiatives with the greatest business impact
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfort operating in ambiguity with a bias toward action creativity and resourcefulness
- Consumer & Shopper Insights: Proven capability translating data into actionable strategies that drive trial, repeat and loyalty
- Commercial and Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of P&L drivers, pricing, trade, and margin management
- Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to influence without authority across Sales, Finance, R&D, and Operations
- Innovation Management: Experience leading stage-gate innovation processes and managing project from idea to commercialization
- Analytical Thinking: Comfort using syndicated data, financial models, and performance metrics to guide decisions
- Project Management: Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills in fast-moving environments
- Communication & Influence: Clear, compelling communicator who can align stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
Conditions Of Role
- Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel, including customer meetings, innovation work sessions, and agency engagements
- Physical Conditions: Primarily office or remote-based, requiring prolonged periods on computer systems
- Work Environment: Remote
Compensation And Benefits
- Compensation Range: $100,000 - $155,000 / year USD (commensurate with experience and location)
