Brand Manager

About the Role
The Brand Manager is responsible for planning and executing integrated brand marketing programs across ProDriven Global Brands’ North American portfolio, including WERNER®, KNAACK, and WEATHER GUARD. This role serves as a central point of coordination for selected initiatives, aligning teams around clear objectives, timelines, deliverables, and measures of success. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing & Partnerships, the Brand Manager translates brand strategy and business priorities into coordinated campaigns across creative, paid media, social, CRM/email, digital, brand partnerships, and channel marketing. The role requires strong project leadership, sound marketing judgment, and the ability to move work from strategy through execution in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
Responsibilities
- Brand Management & Stewardship
- Translate brand positioning and standards into consistent campaign messaging and activation.
- Partner with Creative Strategy and Creative Services to ensure briefs and deliverables reflect the intended brand strategy.
- Review campaign materials for strategic alignment, message consistency, and brand standards.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand relevance, differentiation, and engagement across the portfolio.
- Maintain working knowledge of customer, end-user, competitive, and category insights that inform campaign planning.
- Integrated Brand Campaigns
- Plan and execute integrated brand campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels.
- Translate brand strategies, commercial priorities, and campaign objectives into clear cross-functional activation plans.
- Develop campaign briefs that align messaging, target audiences, creative requirements, channel strategies, timing, and performance expectations.
- Maintain campaign calendars, milestones, and decision points to keep work on time and aligned to objectives.
- Ensure campaigns deliver a consistent and connected brand experience across customer and end-user touchpoints.
- Use data and audience insights to improve campaign effectiveness and planning.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the day-to-day lead for assigned initiatives, connecting creative, paid media, social, CRM/email, digital, and channel execution.
- Build strong working relationships across Brand, Creative, Social, Digital, Channel, Product, Sales, and other business functions.
- Coordinate campaign launch readiness, support post-campaign reviews, and improve integrated planning processes across Marketing.
- Facilitate campaign planning meetings, reviews, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Create clarity around campaign roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and decision-making.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and resource needs early, and communicate progress and decisions proactively to stakeholders.
- Ensure internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and partners have the information, assets, and direction needed to execute successfully.
- Email Marketing & CRM
- Plan and execute email/CRM marketing programs that support brand campaigns, customer engagement, lead nurturing, and demand generation.
- Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, audiences, segmentation, messaging, and calls to action.
- Ensure email programs align with broader campaign, partnership, and digital initiatives.
- Develop and maintain email calendars aligned with broader brand, product, partnership, and commercial priorities.
- Coordinate content development, approvals, deployment, and reporting.
- Use engagement and conversion data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Brand Partnerships & Activations
- Support the activation of brand partnerships, sponsorships, and industry relationships in alignment with the strategy established by the Director.
- Lead selected partnership programs and smaller-scale activations, including industry partnerships such as the American Ladder Institute.
- Develop activation plans, coordinate deliverables, and manage timelines across internal teams and external partners.
- Track partnership commitments, deliverables, performance, and business impact, ensuring partnership assets and activities are consistently and successfully activated across relevant marketing channels.
- Support major sponsorship and customer hospitality programs, including planning, communications, and on-site execution.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Establish campaign objectives and key performance indicators in partnership with the Director and functional owners.
- Collect and synthesize campaign results and impact across media, social, CRM, digital, partnership, and channel activities, identifying trends, best practices, and forecasted metrics to communicate.
- Develop campaign recaps that identify results, key learnings, and recommended actions.
- Promote shared accountability for measurement by ensuring each functional owner provides timely performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive marketing experience, with demonstrated experience in brand marketing, integrated go-to-market campaigns, CRM/email, partnerships, and activation, preferably in a multi-brand, B2B, or B2B2C organization.
- Experience developing and executing campaign briefs, activation plans, managing timelines, and providing performance recaps.
- Strong project and campaign management skills, including coordination of internal and external contributors.
- Demonstrated ability to use performance data and customer insights to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Working knowledge of paid media, social media, digital marketing, and creative development.
- Experience supporting brand partnerships, sponsorships, events, and/or industry activations (preferred but not required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with professional, industrial, construction, or durable-goods brands is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain actively involved in execution within a lean, fast-paced organization.
- Willingness to travel in support of campaigns, partnerships, and events.
