Brand Manager
About the role
KISS is seeking a strategic, commercially minded Brand Manager to lead planning and go-to-market execution for the nail portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and retail — translating consumer insights and brand strategy into campaigns, channel plans, and product narratives that drive growth across mass, drug, e-commerce, and specialty channels. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with creative instinct: equally at home reading a retailer sell-in deck and a digital marketing brief, with a clear understanding of how to build brands in a digital-first, influencer-driven beauty landscape — including paid social, content strategy, platform execution, and performance analytics.
Responsibilities
- Own the long-term category strategy for the product portfolio, aligned with brand objectives, retail priorities, and market trends
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen: comfortable with sell-in decks, P&L frameworks, and retail performance data
- Identify white space opportunities through consumer research, competitive analysis, and trend intelligence
- Build seasonal brand plans that connect product launches to cultural moments, social trends, and retail windows
- Monitor competitive launches, pricing, packaging, and campaign activity to ensure ongoing differentiation and market relevance
- Track beauty, fashion, and nail trends, influencer activity, and platform behaviors — feeding actionable insights back into planning cycles
- Lead consumer insight synthesis in close collaboration with eCommerce, Retail, and Social teams
- Drive the end-to-end product development process from concept to launch — encompassing ideation, packaging, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market planning
- Manage product timelines and cross-functional alignment across R&D, packaging, sourcing, design, sales, and operations
- Plan and execute paid digital campaigns in partnership with media and performance teams; define targeting, creative brief, and KPIs
- Monitor campaign performance and analytics dashboards across all digital channels; leverage data insights to optimize content, targeting, and spend in real time
Requirements
- 6–10 years of progressive experience in brand management, product marketing, or category strategy — preferably in beauty, fashion, personal care, or consumer goods
- Proven track record developing and executing go-to-market strategies across multiple retail channels and digital platforms
- Fluency in social-first marketing, influencer-driven brand building, and paid digital campaign management
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
