Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Congratulations on joining General Electric Credit Union! As a Branch Teller, you will administer basic member financial transactions, monitor deposit and withdrawal amounts, and advise members on GECU products and services.
- You will also collaborate with and refer members to other branch team members as necessary, guide members through self-service handling of account maintenance requests, and ensure members’ needs are being met and are welcomed in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Education And Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- One year of member support-related or professional experience is required, with previous experience handling cash transactions preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills to deliver an impactful and positive experience.
- A high degree of professionalism, functioning well in a fast-paced, in-person environment.
- A thorough attention to detail in reviewing member accounts and processing transactions.
- Proficiency with software to fulfill job duties.
