Branch Supervisor

Industrial Supply has been in business for 110 years, known for its commitment to customer care, employee support, and reliable product offerings. As they look ahead, they're seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead their Arizona branch.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations including warehouse activities, inventory, order fulfillment, deliveries, and customer service.
• Supervise, coach, and support employees while setting clear expectations for performance, safety, accuracy, and customer service.
• Coordinate with sales teams to meet customer needs while maintaining proper order and inventory procedures.
• Manage staffing needs, employee schedules, time records, performance reviews, and performance issues.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and delivery processes to ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure transactions are entered correctly into company systems.
• Provide professional, responsive service to customers and help resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe branch, including warehouse areas, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety expectations.
• Step in to cover branch operations when needed, including warehouse, delivery, customer service, and VMI responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve branch productivity, organization, accuracy, and customer service.

Requirements

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, branch, store, or similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people, set expectations, and hold a team accountable.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of inventory, receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse processes.
• Comfortable using computers and inventory/order-management systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to be a hands-on leader and assist in different areas of the branch when needed.
• Ability to safely and legally operate a delivery vehicle when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse, distribution, branch, or store environment.
• Experience with inventory management and order-processing systems.
• Experience in industrial distribution or a related industry.
• Familiarity with Industrial Supply products, systems, customers, or processes.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience.
