Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises the branch office and performs or delegates duties including:
    • Oversight of branch service operations (approval of transactional overrides, branch general ledger accounts, vault and drawer audits, approval of overdrafts)
    • Control of negotiable supplies, cash management, ordering and shipments
    • ATM balancing and maintenance
    • Ensuring proper branch security measures
    • Preparation of regulatory, internal, and operational reports
    • Participation in audits of key branch functions
  • Works with management to establish growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office; provides input on performance measurement and control
  • Solicits new business from current and prospective customers; maintains ongoing business relationships to optimize cross-selling opportunities
  • Monitors individual sales and customer service performance against goals and discusses performance with manager frequently
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of features and benefits of all consumer products and services to ascertain and fulfill customer needs
  • Monitors staff progress, assists with questions or problems, and conducts regular staff meetings
  • Opens and maintains deposit accounts in accordance with bank procedures
  • May make loans to customers with appropriate oversight
  • Directly supervises assigned personnel:
    • Assists in the selection of new personnel
    • Coordinates orientation and training of new personnel
    • Reviews employee performance during introductory period and regularly thereafter
    • Manages and maximizes performance levels through regular feedback and appropriate actions for improvement
    • Organizes, schedules, and distributes work among staff
    • Keeps personnel informed of policies and procedures; encourages upward communication
    • Administers personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintains proficient knowledge of, and demonstrates compliance with, all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls; meets training requirements timely
  • Models and holds staff accountable for upholding the Company’s core values: Integrity, Humility, Teamwork, and Excellence
  • May travel to other branches in the area to provide support and ensure proper staffing levels
  • Assists with transactions and customer inquiries as needed to ensure branch and Bank goals are achieved

Requirements

  • A.A.S. Degree or equivalent; specialized banking education and training
  • Valid driver license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in related positions
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required under the SAFE Act

Pay

Minimum USD $22.60/Hr. Maximum USD $33.93/Hr.

Schedule

37.5 hours per week

  • Use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, and speak and hear
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
