Branch Supervisor

About the role
The Branch Supervisor directly supervises the staff and operations of a small branch or works with a Branch or District Manager to oversee staff and operations at one or more locations. This role coordinates branch goals, supervises personnel, ensures compliance with policies, and may have lending authority while providing an optimal customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises branch operations, including transactional overrides, general ledger accounts, vault and drawer audits, overdraft approvals, negotiable supplies control, cash management, ATM balancing, and branch security.
- Prepares regulatory, internal, and operational reports and participates in audits of key branch functions.
- Works with management to establish growth, sales, and profit objectives; provides input on performance measurement and control.
- Solicits new business from current and prospective customers and maintains relationships to optimize cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitors individual sales and customer service performance against goals and discusses progress with management.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all consumer products and services to meet customer needs.
- Assists staff with questions or problems, conducts regular staff meetings, and ensures upward communication.
- Opens and maintains deposit accounts in accordance with bank procedures and may make loans with appropriate oversight.
- Supervises assigned personnel, including:
- Assisting in the selection, orientation, and training of new personnel.
- Reviewing employee performance during introductory and regular periods.
- Managing and maximizing performance through feedback and improvement actions.
- Organizing, scheduling, and distributing work among staff.
- Administering personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintains proficient knowledge of and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and training requirements.

- May travel to other branches to provide support and ensure proper staffing levels.
- Assists with transactions and customer inquiries as needed to ensure branch goals are met.
Requirements
- A.A.S. Degree or equivalent; specialized banking education and training.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum four (4) years of related experience.
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required under the SAFE Act.

Pay
Minimum USD $22.60/Hr. Maximum USD $33.93/Hr.
Schedule
37.5 hours/week.
