About the Role
Greet members by phone and in person, determine the nature of service required, and either provide requested services or direct them to the appropriate area. In locations offering DMV license services, process transactions and resolve routine problems while delivering a high level of customer service according to the Club's Quality Assurance Standards.
Responsibilities
- In states offering DMV license services, provide registration services to members; maintain current knowledge of DMV regulations and complete all transactions according to State DMV and Club procedures.
- Prepare TripTiks®; provide maps, tour books, and other travel-related materials.
- Assist members with hotel and/or car reservations.
- Promote and sell AAA memberships.
- Process membership payments and upgrades (e.g., Plus, Premier) including automatic renewal offers.
- Process insurance payments and offer automatic renewal.
- Issue passport photos and International Driving Permits (IDPs).
- Process Travel Money product transactions; provide merchandise and attraction ticket sales.
- Balance and reconcile cash drawer; prepare daily deposits.
- Perform notary services in accordance with the National Notary Association and Club procedures.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities based on members’ product needs and service.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of Branch Specialist 1 and/or 2 or related experience.
- Basic computer literacy and data input skills.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment and perform basic accounting duties.
- Ability to work quickly and handle multiple tasks or assignments daily.
- Prior experience using State DMV licensing system (if applicable).
- Obtain and maintain a valid notary license (Notary Public - National Notary Association) within 1 year, if required.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel to off-site business meetings or conferences (approximately 5% of the time).
