This role provides sales leadership through personal production and oversight of sales and service tasks, working closely with key partners to achieve sales and service objectives while maintaining operational integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily branch operations, service, and sales functions to achieve strategic goals in partnership with the Branch/Business Center Manager.
  • Interview, select, and hire top talent, providing substantially weighted recommendations regarding employee advancement, promotions, and terminations.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to foster a high-performance culture and support their professional growth.
  • Direct the daily workflow of managed employees, including scheduling, work apportionment, and task coordination.
  • Maintain production and sales records to evaluate employee efficiency, handle grievances, and implement performance management or disciplinary actions.
  • Drive growth through personal sales production while providing strategic oversight and training on bank products and services.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point to resolve complex client service issues, complaints, and inquiries.
  • Establish management procedures to ensure adherence to safety, security, and legal compliance protocols within the company’s risk appetite.
  • Prepare the branch for internal and external audits, partnering with audit staff to resolve operational gaps.
  • Investigate operational discrepancies, mitigate potential fraud or loss, and resolve complex risk matters.
  • Exercise professional discretion and sound judgment in transaction approvals, overrides, and matters of significant financial impact.
  • Collaborate with key internal partners to plan and achieve operational, sales, and customer experience objectives.
  • Support branch operations by processing cash transactions, approving teller transactions, and performing customer service duties as needed.
  • Maintain an active daily presence at the assigned branch to support the team and clients directly.
  • Perform other strategic and operational tasks as assigned to support the success of the business unit.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; 2-8+ years of experience in retail banking, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes, or related fields. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Considerable working knowledge of the banking industry, processes, procedures, regulations, and products.
  • Knowledge of lending processes and procedures.
  • Strong customer service, relationship-building, sales, and management skills.
  • Experience handling various client concerns and problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to set and maintain high-quality work standards.
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Pay

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $64,000 - $108,000 annually, depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
