About the role
The Branch Relationship Banker position at Vectra Bank is available at our Durango Retail branch. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about serving the community, working collaboratively, and assisting customers in achieving their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Performs full-service banking services to new and existing customers within the branch, focusing on sales and service.
- Handles new accounts, consumer loans, and performs client service issues.
- Resolves client concerns through direct action or by referring clients to alternative bank departments.
- Makes appropriate referrals for other bank products and services, including commercial lending products.
- Follows up with clients as needed.
- May be responsible for processing cash transactions, opening or updating accounts, originating and closing consumer or small business loans.
- Responsible for resolving customer service issues.
- Establishes, expands, and maintains strong customer relationships by providing personalized service focused on individual banking customer needs.
- Processes cash transactions and other customer service duties within the branch.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years' experience in sales, teller, new accounts, or loan processing or other directly related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Previous experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role preferred.
- Working knowledge of mathematical calculations and standard banking products, services, and transactions.
- Solid knowledge of all retail products and services.
- Basic knowledge of consumer lending applications.
- Proven customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills.
- Solid mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Solid interpersonal & relationship building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.

- This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $23.00– $30.00 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
