About the role

The Branch Relationship Banker position at Vectra Bank's Aspen Branch is seeking a driven individual who is passionate about serving the community and helping customers achieve their financial goals. This role involves providing comprehensive banking services, resolving customer issues, and establishing strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full-service banking services to new and existing customers within the branch, focusing on sales and service
  • Handle new accounts, consumer loans, and client service issues
  • Make appropriate referrals for other bank products and services, including commercial lending products
  • Follow up with clients as needed
  • Process cash transactions and other customer service duties within the branch
  • Establish, expand, and maintain a strong customer relationship by providing personalized service
  • May be responsible for originating and closing consumer or small business loans
  • Resolve customer service issues

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years’ experience in sales, teller, new accounts, or loan processing or other directly related experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications
  • Previous experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role or retail banking products and services is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of consumer lending applications
  • Proven customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills
  • Solid mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Solid interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
