Pay

USD $22.60 – USD $22.60 per hour. Base salary is determined by job‑related factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. This role is eligible for a competitive monthly incentive based on individual and company performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to existing and prospective customers seeking loans.
• Achieve consistent results and meet individual and branch goals related to the sale of company products and services.
• Exercise lending authority when reviewing and approving applications and use product knowledge to offer loan solutions that meet customer needs.
• Take initiative in learning the lending and collection job functions and duties of all branch personnel during the Branch Manager Training Program.
• Assist management in proactive daily task assignment to ensure the branch is structured to provide quality customer service.
• Manage approval of policy exceptions as authorized by management, considering retention needs and related factors.
• Use problem‑solving skills to resolve product, service, and policy‑related obstacles for customers.
• Act proactively in retaining and maintaining existing accounts by placing inside‑sales calls to promote awareness of other products and services.
• Assist the Branch Manager in managing multiple priorities, initiating contact with customers to acquire additional financial information, completing reports, and communicating/resolving problem situations.
• Exercise authority to ensure policies and procedures are met when monitoring/approving monthly expenses using the annual business plan.
• Assist the manager in reviewing the branch income statement and implementing action plans based on analysis.
• In the manager’s absence, provide leadership to the branch team and coordinate daily operational issues through communication with the District Manager/AVP.
• Perform relief assignments in other markets to practice and demonstrate learned skills.
• May perform additional functions depending on market demand and branch staffing to provide consistent quality customer service.
• Other functions include, but are not limited to: collecting payments, completing and processing loan applications, contacting customers for late payments, cashiering, answering phones, photocopying, filing, etc.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of related experience in consumer lending/financial services (experience may substitute for the degree).
• Military rank may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree (e.g., E‑4, W‑1, or O‑3 and above).
• Willingness to relocate and travel to surrounding branches as needed; reliable transportation required.
• Effective written and oral communication skills and personal computer proficiency.
• Ability to complete essential duties/functions in a timely, accurate manner.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and interpersonal skills in demanding situations.
• Must obtain applicable licenses to sell insurance products offered by the branch.
• Must perform work‑related tasks at the assigned branch location except in emergencies as determined by the company and regulatory agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Internship or work experience in consumer lending or financial services.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.

Hours of Work

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: hours required seasonally and as business needs require.
• Work schedule may be adjusted at the company’s discretion to address business needs.

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting for extended periods; reaching with hands and arms; operating computer and phone systems; talking and hearing.
• Occasional movement about the office.
• Physical presence in the office is required.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus are required.
