Branch Manager-General Tool
About the role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a multi-million dollar revenue business unit. This role involves overall responsibility for the performance of the rental center, including Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics. The Branch Manager will drive financial and operational goals, oversee reporting functions, and build a success-driven team with a clear career track in multi-unit or sales leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the rental center business unit, including Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics.
- Achieve financial and performance goals through effective direction, coordination, and evaluation.
- Oversee operational and financial reporting functions.
- Build and manage a high-performing team.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
- Work indoors and outdoors as required by the job.
Requirements
- Business Management degree with at least 1 year of Rental Industry experience OR 3-4 years of Rental Industry experience.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Understanding of P&L and key financial controls.
- Experience in outside sales, negotiation, or influencing.
- Experience in construction or industrial markets is helpful.
- High level of accountability, time management, and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
Related experience may include: Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Operations, District Manager, Rental Manager, Store Manager, Business Development Manager.
Pay
Base Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
