Branch Manager

About the role

We are hiring a Branch Manager in Greenville, TN. This position oversees daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals. Key responsibilities include promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, managing inventory, and balancing expenses through purchasing. The Branch Manager also fosters facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards, supports the outside sales team, and manages training for inside sales associates.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales and deliver excellent customer service
• Nurture inventory levels and balance expenses through purchasing
• Foster facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards
• Support the outside sales team in nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities
• Aid in the flow of accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits
• Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports
• Cultivate and refine appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch
• Facilitate and lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety
• Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates
• Act as a bridge between employees and management, providing performance mentorship and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management

Requirements

• Previous management experience in a customer facing environment
• Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools
• Self-motivated with a focus on contributing to the overall team's success
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management
