About the role
The Branch Administrator at Carolina Cat will provide excellent customer service and perform various functions within a Branch. This position requires someone who can adapt to different roles and help the branch achieve its goals while serving customers.
Responsibilities
- Answers and screens telephone calls, takes messages, provides information, or redirects calls as appropriate.
- Screens visitors and receives and directs them to the appropriate department.
- Front door reception for Sales & Service, including sales of small parts, product warranty registration, and check-in of service items to the repair shop.
- Create a welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries; coordinates related arrangements.
- Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; assembles correspondence for mailing.
- Reconcile petty cash as necessary.
- Order office supplies and oversee machine maintenance as necessary.
- Aid employees with internal HR questions (benefits and payroll) when called upon.
- Aid with accounts receivable functions.
- Maintain appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school degree, associate’s degree from two-year college or university; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
- Ability and desire to learn new systems and industry specific language.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- While performing the duties of this Job, depending on site location, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment. The employee may occasionally be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and vibration.
- The employee may occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock.
