About the role

The Boxmaker Production Associate position at Springhill Container involves performing various tasks such as operating converting machines, transporting corrugated sheets, working in the shipping department, and assisting in the corrugator department. This role also includes general labor duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate converting machines to print, fold, and glue corrugated sheets into boxes.
• Transport corrugated sheets to converting machines using a forklift.
• Operate a clamp truck to deliver rolls of paper to the corrugator.
• Work as a corrugator technician, inspecting sheet quality and routing sheets to appropriate machines.
• Assist in the shipping department, operating a forklift, handling finished materials, and loading trucks.
• Perform general labor duties, including cleaning and other entry-level tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and follow procedures.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing processes is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.

Schedule

Rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
