Box Builder (Assembly)

About the role

This position is for the "Hands-On" personality type. Helpfully, general construction knowledge with experience using pneumatic staple & nail guns, tape measure in US Standard, and metric measurement is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively and courteously with co-workers
• Understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing company-provided protective equipment
• Provide regular and consistent attendance - be on time for the work schedule
• Contribute to the creation of quality parts as defined by company-provided quality standards
• Willingly participate in all training
• Be motivated to achieve production targets and other key performance measures

Requirements

• General construction experience utilizing saws, machine operation, and pneumatic tools is helpful
• On-the-job training for candidates willing to learn with no experience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to review products and materials during the manufacturing process
• Communicate verbally or in written form
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Follow safety requirements
• A desire to build quality cabinetry
• A desire to learn and retain information
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds regularly
• Able to remain stationary for long periods
• Able to learn wood species, finishes (stains and paints), and cabinet parts for assembly
