Box Builder

Duties & Responsibilities

• Buils specialty boxes for any product that does not fit in a standard shipping container.
• Operates power tools in the wood shop, while maintaining a safe environment at all times.
• Communicates closely with Shipping, OCP/OCS cell, and manufacturing personnel to obtain required crates needed on a daily basis.
• Recertified to operate forklift annually.
• Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as necessary.
• Acceptable attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required by the position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic construction capabilities required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in 10’s and 100’s.
• Detail-oriented.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Annual baseline hearing test required.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
