About the role
The production workers are involved in various tasks related to assembling, manufacturing, or packaging products in a factory or production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical work in a manufacturing setting.
- Assemble goods on a production line.
- Monitor the production process for any issues or malfunctions.
- Ensure consistent speed and accuracy on the production line, making sure the production daily goal is met.
- Maintain waste and efficiency standards.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Effectively work and communicate with other team members to provide products and services of the highest quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform highly detailed and repetitive work.
Qualifications
- Must be able to tolerate both high and low temperatures and loud noises, typical of a manufacturing plant.
- May be required to work overtime or on weekends, depending on the needs of the production schedule.
