About the role
We are looking for hardworking individuals to install necessary boxes to the rails, grind edges off de-molded parts and inside of hulls, cut and drill necessary holes in hulls and decks, install basic plumbing hardware, and inject foam into chambers. This is a first shift, safety-sensitive position requiring the use of respirators (clean-shaven face required).
Responsibilities
- Use small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, diamond cutter, hole saws, etc.)
- Inspect all parts to ensure they are complete and meet quality standards
- Work with a team to complete daily tasks
- Perform other duties, assignments, and responsibilities as needed
- Cross-train within the department as required
Requirements
- Meet physical requirements such as heavy lifting, bending, and twisting
- Able to work in fiberglass dust and handle fiberglass items
- Able to handle chemicals (catalyst, resin, foam)
- Able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and a respirator
- Able to follow directions from supervisors
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience with fiberglass or resin
Physical Requirements
- Work in excessive heat and a non-climate-controlled environment
- Bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 pounds when moving deck pieces
- Work in fiberglass dust and handle fiberglass items
- Handle chemicals (catalyst, resin, foam)
Schedule
First shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
