Box Truck Driver

TOMRA, an international recycling company, is seeking a Box Truck Driver to transport used beverage containers and store supplies safely and on schedule. No CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport cargo to and from specified destinations
• Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for delivery or pickup of goods to ensure timely service
• Loads, secures, and unloads cargo
• Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pickup instructions or notice of schedule changes
• Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver
• Valid driver’s license with a "satisfactory" driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs)
• Availability for occasional weekend shifts
• Polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., rush hour)
• High school diploma

Pay

$23.00 per hour plus overtime

Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
