About the role
Nauset Disposal is looking for a safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our growing team in New Bedford, MA. Drivers interested in secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply.
Schedule
- 6:00 AM start time
- 50 to 55 hours per week
Pay
$24.00 per hour
Annual boot allowance, quarterly safety bonuses, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL box truck on specified routes to deliver and collect toters.
- Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Perform routine post- and pre-route inspections on vehicles, such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers when needed.
- Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- 1 year of local route driving experience
