Box Truck Driver

About the role

The Retail Medical Route Driver loads linen carts onto an 18 ft. to 28 ft. box truck according to the daily assigned delivery route, delivers linen products to customers in a timely manner, and provides excellent customer service to retain accounts. Linens are delivered on carts weighing over 500 pounds with wheels. Location: Wilson, NC.

Responsibilities

• Load all linen carts onto an 18 ft. to 28 ft. box truck in the correct order based on the daily assigned delivery route.
• Deliver linen product to customers in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to each customer to retain accounts.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience driving a box truck.
• Meets all DOT requirements.
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead and to push or pull a linen cart that can weigh over 500 pounds.

Pay

$22.61 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with a 2:00 AM start.
