Bow Technician-PT

Responsibilities

• Carefully follow customer instructions while maintaining safety requirements.
• Service bows, including:
  • Setting up bows with accessories
  • Tuning bows
  • Repairing bows
  • Stringing bows
• Communicate repair processes and provide suggestions for ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain an orderly and immaculate workspace, archery bench, back stock space, and surrounding areas.
• Attend sales and product knowledge training meetings as required.
• Answer customer questions about merchandise location, price, and use.
• Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
• Contact vendors to order and follow up on repair part orders.
• Assist with customer trade-ins.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Must be able to exert 50–80 pounds of pulling force regularly.
• Follow all safety procedures to minimize the risk of injury.
