Bottoming Operator

About the role

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Bottomer Operator for their Sibley Plant. The position operates a machine for maximum production of defect-free pinch-seal multiwall bags on a 2nd shift schedule of 6 PM-6 AM I 2-2-3.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate the machine for maximum production of defect-free pinch-seal multiwall bags.
• Achieve no defective product reaching the customer to ensure a profitable operation.
• Ensure the product meets customer specifications and performs as expected on their equipment.
• Provide in-house customers with a product that can be worked with.
• Assume responsibilities of the position in the absence of the Bottoming Operator.

Requirements

• Experience operating similar machinery.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
